Alongside the gameplay updates and improvements, four obscure new trophies / achievements were also added for players to unlock. This guide will help players unlock the Sneak 100 trophy / achievement that requires them to sneak past a sculk sensor.

What Is a Sculk Sensor?
Sculk sensors are one of many strange new blocks found in the Deep Dark cave biome. They effectively act as alarm systems, detecting:
Movement from non-sneaking players Movement from enemies Movement from animals The sound of items being dropped Noises from players (footsteps, eating, etc. ) Noises from enemies (pain or otherwise) Noises from animals Blocks breaking and/or being placed
Once they detect any sounds like the ones in the list above, the sensor will send out a ‘signal’ that makes sculk shriekers, well, shriek. This can prove especially deadly if a Warden is active in the area, as the shrieks will bring him running. These mobs are particularly creepy and will hunt players mercilessly. If the Wardens have been dealt with or there are no shriekers nearby, though, the sensor is effectively harmless.
Sculk sensors can also be destroyed, but may only drop a block to collect if they were broken with a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch.
How To Sneak Past a Sculk Sensor
After finding their way into the Deep Dark biome or an ancient city, the hard part of this achievement / trophy is effectively over. Sensors can be found all throughout the biome, and even if players have already been detected by one sculk sensor, moving a few blocks away from the sensor and then crouching towards it will still count and unlock the Sneak 100 trophy / achievement. To avoid having to sneak through the entire biome, though, players should bring plenty of wool. It’s safe to stand and walk normally on wool blocks without fear of setting off the sensor.
