Minecraft Dungeons reviewed well after being released earlier this year. The game is deep enough to keep fans of games like Diablo entertained and accessible enough for younger Minecraft fans who are ready for a step up in video game complexity.

In a video diary posted on the Minecraft YouTube channel, David Nisshagen, the game’s executive producer, shared details about the new DLC for Minecraft Dungeons. But he also made sure to let fans know to “stay tuned, there will be more updates coming in the future.”

After the video went live, some fans were still concerned or confused about whether or not Minecraft Dungeons would be continually supported moving forward. Nisshagen quickly let them know that this Creeping Winter DLC is certainly not the last paid DLC or free update. The game is, of course, free in Xbox Games Pass. In the YouTube video, Nisshagen shared his plans regarding the support of the game.

The DLC themes thus far are interesting and fun, with Jungle Minecraft Dungeons DLC having released a month ago. Moving forward, Minecraft Dungeons will have both paid DLC and free updates, which the developers hope allow players to stay engaged and have fun things to do constantly.

Minecraft Dungeons is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
