Since its launch, Miles Morales’ standalone adventure has received a patch for VRR support with the potential for 120Hz refresh rates on compatible monitors. But many features that were already available made for a special experience that players could personalize and customize based on their own respective preferences. One of these features offers players to choose the time of day that it is while they traverse city streets and enjoy optional side content. For anyone who is unaware, here is how to change the time of day in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

How to Change the Time of Day in Miles Morales

Firstly, players must have beaten Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ story before they have the option to change the time of day at will. This is similar to Marvel’s Spider-Man, where players could only change the time of day at Harry Osborn’s research stations once the story had been finished.

In order to change the time of day in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales once it has been completed, however, players only need to head to the Game tab in the menu settings.

Here, players will notice that it has been added as the first setting feature that can be configured, where it was previously not available. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales allows players to choose from either day, night, sunset, or overcast for times of day with their own lighting.

Further, players can choose to have the weather represent a clear forecast, as well as either light or heavy snowfall, which is a definitive seasonal feature in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man, the only options for time of day were day, sunset, or night, and no weather options were available. This demonstrates how much more immersive Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ day-and-night cycle and weather systems are. Once players select their desired time of day and forecast, the game will need to restart.

On PS5, this reboot only takes a couple of seconds of load time and players are immediately back in New York City with their preferred atmosphere. Many players have likely finished the game at this point, and can therefore make use of this feature whenever and however they would like.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available on PS4 and PS5.
