After Hornets free agent forward Miles Bridges was arrested in Los Angeles on felony domestic violence charges, his partner, Mychelle Johnson, shared graphic images in an Instagram post that detailed the abuse she has suffered.

Though she does not mention Bridges by name in the post, the two reportedly began dating around 2016 and have two children together.

Within the post, Johnson details the injuries she has sustained, including a diagnosis from an emergency room visit diagnosing her with a concussion, closed fracture of the nasal bone, rib contusion and strained neck muscle as a result of an assault by strangulation.

“I hate that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore,” Johnson wrote. “I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.”

In the state of California, felony domestic violence is a domestic crime committed with aggravating factors, which includes violence resulting in bodily injury.

Following his arrest, Bridges was released on $130,000 bond, according to police records. A court date has been scheduled for July 20.
