Just hours after the team announced tight end Hunter Henry would miss some time with a knee injury, coach Anthony Lynn told reporters he is concerned about wide receiver Mike Williams’ availability for Sunday’s matchup with the Lions, as well.

“Absolutely,” he said when asked if he was worried about Williams being available, via the Orange County Register. “We signed a wide receiver (Anthony Johnson). Just in case. Just don’t know.”

Williams left Sunday’s 30-24 overtime win over the Colts with a knee injury and did not return. He had two catches for 29 yards in the game.

The 24-year-old caught 43 passes for 664 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Chargers last season after injuries limited him to 10 games as a rookie.

Los Angeles also put cornerback Trevor Williams on injured reserve Wednesday and safety/linebacker Derwin James is on the IR, as well, after he suffered an injury before the season.

Melvin Gordon also continues to hold out as he is looking for a new contract. Los Angeles has given him permission to seek a trade.
