The 29-year-old had a down season last year in Minnesota. After playing well in Miami, Wallace signed with the Vikings and caught just 39 passes for 473 yards in 16 games. Those are alarmingly low numbers for a player who was once near the top at his position.

Even though his numbers have gone downhill since his days with the Steelers, the veteran wideout feels like he’s better.
“I think I’ve gotten better, even though [the] numbers don’t say so,” Wallace told ESPN. “I think I’ll get better this year, and I’ll show some people I have a lot up my sleeve.”
Wallace has always been portrayed as a one trick pony — a fast receiver who can only catch the deep ball. That’s still a strength of his, and he’ll be able to stretch the field with Joe Flacco’s big arm, but he’s ready to show he can do more than that, and get back to being an elite wideout.
John Harbaugh agrees and told ESPN, “[Wallace is] going to be a big part of what we’re doing this year.”
