Homeboyz are set to play Tusker in a Kenyan Premier League match at Ruaraka Ground on Saturday and the match might be the last assignment for Mururi.
According to a reliable source, who spoke to Goal on condition of anonymity, Mururi could be headed to Vihiga United to take up a new role from next month.
Sources at Vihiga United told Goal that Mururi could take up the role of an assistant to Edward Manoah.
Those close to the ongoing at the two clubs say that Manoah could be elevated to the role of the technical director with his place being filled by Mururi.
“Mururi deliberately refused to renew contract at the beginning of the season because his mind was set somewhere else. He on his way out and this (Tusker match) could be his last with us.”
