Packers coach Mike McCarthy shared that news Monday afternoon in his media conference.

“(Rodgers) made it through the game very well,” McCarthy said. “I think he feels better this week than he does at this time last week.”

Rodgers appeared to struggle early in the Packers 26-21 win over the Cowboys, but his play progressed as the game went on. He finished with 316 yards and three touchdowns.

McCarthy says Rodgers will continue to “go through treatments throughout the week.”

With his star quarterback feeling better, McCarthy can turn his attention to more pressing matters — such as how the Packers will deal with the notoriously loud atmosphere in CenturyLink Field. The Packers played the Seahawks in the season opener, losing 36-16. McCarthy said the team will draw on that experience.

“There’s value in the experience,” McCarthy said. “That’s the way we go about it. I think every time we practice there’s growth. I think in most areas I think they handled it very well. We had some boundary communication in the first half. We burned three timeouts in that game.”

The Packers will fly into Seattle on Friday and practice Saturday.
