Lindell appeared this week on a streaming network he set up called Lindell TV, which airs a 24-hour feed and features various conspiracy-prone guests.

In a viral clip taken from the broadcast, Lindell gets cut off by his own attorney when he starts wading into the election-fraud waters. Then, he resumes his train of thought.

“What we’re doing now is I am going after Dade County in the 2022 [midterm] election,” Lindell told host Brannon Howse. “And everyone says, ‘Now why would you go after Dade County?’ Was that, do you know why, Brannon?”

The CEO then pointed out that Miami-Dade County, which traditionally votes for Democratic candidates, is where Republican DeSantis won.

“For me, I look at deviations, everybody,” Lindell said. “That’s a deviation.”

Howse then interjected: “Because that was historical. Normally, Republicans don’t win that county.”

“I don’t believe it,” Lindell said. “So, I’m just going to show everybody, just like we always tell you about Democrats where they stole their elections….I’m going to find out in Dade County, what happened there.”

A devoted supporter of former President Donald Trump, Lindell has insisted that compromised voting machines were at fault for supposed widespread fraud amid the 2020 presidential election. It’s a claim that’s gotten him into legal hot water.

In October, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Lindell’s attempt to avoid a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems. Smartmatic, an election technology and services company, has also sued Lindell for defamation.

DeSantis, meanwhile, is rumored to become a candidate in the GOP primary for the 2024 presidential election.

The Florida governor isn’t just popular among hardline conservatives, though. Several new polls show that DeSantis is also big with independent voters, who say they’d back him in a possible 2024 contest against President Joe Biden.

Lindell, who had been banned from Twitter, saw his account restored last week. He quickly went from thanking the social media giant’s new CEO, Elon Musk, to calling for an end to electronic voting machines.

“I’m back!! Thank you @elonmusk and by the way MELT DOWN THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES AND TURN THEM INTO PRISON BARS!” he tweeted on December 16.

Newsweek reached out to DeSantis’ office for comment.
