With just under seven minutes remaining in the game and the Maple Leafs leading 2-0, Fisher pushed Franson from behind, sending him face first into a stanchion holding the glass together.

Fisher earned a five-minute major and was ejected from the game. Franson was attended to by the Toronto training staff before leaving the ice. But he left quite a mark.

The Maple Leafs took advantage of Fisher's penalty, as both Tyler Bozak and Joffrey Lupul scored on the ensuing power play, pushing Toronto's lead to 4-0 late in the third.
