RELATED: Marvel’s Midnight Suns: What To Do With Attack, Skill, And Heroic Essences

To most players’ appraisal, the game has even included New York’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a great hero in Midnight Suns who is best for using quick attacks combined with environmental attacks.

10 Spider Sense

Spider Sense is definitely a great card for players to use within Spider-Man’s deck of cards, but this Skill card just falls short in comparison to other cards that Spider-Man can use. Spider Sense is a Skill card of the common rarity.

This card is one that players will start off with after obtaining Spider-Man as a playable character. Spider Sense will provide players with 2 Heroism upon use, which is great for Spider-Man when building up Heroism. This card also allows the player to draw two Spider-Man cards, and then gain 1 Fast for Spider-Man.

9 Quick Kick

Quick Kick is another card that players will start off with after obtaining Spider-Man as a playable character. Quick Kick is a great Quick move for players to use with Spider-Man, especially when considering that Spider-Man is all about quantity over quality when it comes to performing actions.

Quick Kick is an Attack card of the common rarity. This card initially doesn’t deal damage but has the Knockback effect so that players may eliminate an opponent by knocking them into other enemies, heroes, or objects. This card provides 1 Heroism.

8 THWIP!

THWIP! is a great utility move for when attempting to foil the enemy’s plans, especially when those plans may prove fatal. THWIP! is a Heroic card of the common rarity. This card is a perfect representation of Spider-Man’s canonical powers, as using this card will force an enemy to be applied with Bind.

This means they are stuck and can’t act, and damage won’t relieve them of Bind. This means that the player can continuously attack the enemy with Bind, and they will not be able to escape. This card will cost players 2 Heroism. Players should upgrade this card with essence when given a chance.

7 Special Delivery

Special Delivery is a unique card that players can find from opening Gamma Coils with Tony Stark. Special Delivery is an Attack card of the rare rarity. This card doesn’t deal any initial damage, but players will find its usefulness with its Knockback effect.

Special Delivery states that the card has the Forceful Knockback effect on an enemy, and rather than knocking the enemy away from the hero, this card will bring the enemy towards Spider-Man. Players can deal great damage by knocking the enemy into Spider-Man after upgrading the training grounds. This card provides 1 Heroism.

6 Webslinger

Taking the name of one of the most classic and recognizable nicknames that Spider-Man has received is the Webslinger card. Webslinger is a Skill card of epic rarity. This card is a must when it comes to building a deck for Spider-Man; this is mostly due to the fact that the card is Free.

Webslinger will not provide any initial Heroism, but this card will give Spider-Man 1 Strengthened. This card is also Free, meaning it won’t cost the player a card play. Webslinger also has Exhaust, meaning that the card is taken out of play after being used.

5 Opportunist

This card is a perfect representation of how players should build Spider-Man and his deck. Opportunist is a Skill card of the rare rarity. This card also provides 2 Heroism. Opportunist states that Spider-Man’s next two environment attacks will cost the player 0 Heroism.

Not only that but the player is provided with two more additional moves so that, presumably, Spider-Man can keep moving around to perform environmental attacks. This card is one of Spider-Man’s best, as it focuses on attacking with the environment, which doesn’t cost a card play!

4 Up Here!

Up Here! is one of Spidey’s best cards for dealing blatant damage. Up Here! is a Heroic card of the rare rarity and will cost players 2 Heroism. This card is capable of taking out some weaker enemies with one shot, but it may prove more useful against stronger enemies.

Up Here! deals an initial 100% offensive damage, but this card also applies 2 Weak against the enemy that was damaged, which can be even greater with mods. The Weak affliction makes it so that an enemy will have their offense halved, meaning they won’t be dealing nearly as much damage as they initially have.

3 Chain Strike

Chain Strike is another card that players will start off with in Spider-Man’s original deck. Chain Strike is an Attack card that will provide players with 1 Heroism. This card initially deals 100% offensive damage and also has the effect of chaining to another target if the first target is knocked out.

At first, this card initially chains to two enemies, but upon upgrading the card, Chain Strike + will be able to chain to four different targets. This card can be great for when taking out multiple targets that are already low on health or multiple 1-hit enemies.

2 Web Throw

Web Throw is Spider-Man’s second most expensive Heroic card that he can play, but for good reason. Web Throw is a Heroic Card of the epic rarity and will cost players 3 Heroism. Web Throw doesn’t exactly deal damage upfront but rather has the Forceful Knockback effect on an enemy.

This card also does 50% offensive damage to any nearby targets as Spider-Man throws the enemy around. This card is one of the best for Spider-Man as he can easily knock out multiple enemies or just easily deal a lot of damage to different targets.

1 Infernal Spider

Infernal Spider is Spider-Man’s special Midnight Suns ability that the player can only obtain by maximizing their friendship with Peter Parker and then completing Spider-Man’s Midnight Suns challenge in the Forge. Infernal Spider is a Heroic card of the legendary rarity and is the most expensive for the hero as it will cost players 4 Heroism.

Infernal Spider doesn’t deal damage, but the card allows the next three Spider-Man cards to be completely Free, meaning they won’t cost a card play. Upgrading this card will also allow the player to draw a Spider-Man card.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
