RELATED: Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Best Deck For Spider-Man
Wolverine is arguably one of the best characters in Midnight Suns, and that statement is especially true when it comes to pouring direct damage onto multiple enemies. Wolverine is a hero in Midnight Suns that is full of rage, and that rage is put to use within all of Wolverine’s cards. It’s also good to note that when Wolverine is downed, players will get a Wolverine card called, Rapid Regeneration in hand that will allow them to Revive Wolverine to 50% health for Free.
10 Quick Swipe
Quick Swipe is one of the several cards that the player will already have obtained after unlocking Wolverine through the game’s story mode. Quick Swipe is an Attack card of the common rarity, and will deal offensive damage to enemies.
This card also has the Quick ability, meaning that if the enemy that Wolverine targets is knocked out, then the player will be refunded a card play. Not only that, but this card also has Taunt, meaning whichever enemy that Wolverine attacks, will be Taunted and forced to go after Wolverine. This card provides 1 Heroism.
9 Chain Swipes
Chain Swipes is another card that the player will already have acquired in Wolverine’s initial deck upon unlocking the beastly X-Man. Chain Swipes is an Attack card of the common rarity, and will also deal offensive damage to multiple enemies.
This card states that Chain Swipes can be Chained to three enemies, and each enemy that Wolverine attacks will be Taunted. Chain Swipes is a good coverage move to take the heat off of heroes, or take out multiple minions. Chain Swipes will provide the player with 1 Heroism.
8 Berserk
Berserk is yet another card that players initially start out with after unlocking Wolverine to play in Midnight Suns. This card is one of Wolverine’s Skill cards of the common rarity, and will provide the player with 2 Heroism upon being played. When playing Berserk, the player will be allowed to draw two of Wolverine’s cards.
The card also states that for the rest of that turn, Wolverine’s cards will have the Lifesteal effect, which means that for how much damage that Wolverine deals to enemies, he will also be healed the same amount.
7 Eviscerate
This card is the final card that players will have acquired already when they have unlocked Wolverine. Eviscerate is a great Heroic card of the common rarity, and will cost players 2 Heroism in order to be played. Eviscerate will deal offensive damage, and will be able to Chain attacks to four enemies.
This card also has the Taunt effect, meaning that every enemy that Wolverine attacks will be Taunted and forced to attack Wolverine in the next turn. When upgraded, this card will grant Counter upon an enemy’s defeat.
6 Power Slash
Power Slash is another one of Wolverine’s Attack cards, and arguably one of the best Attack cards that the hero can utilize within his build. Power Slash is an Attack card of the rare rarity. This card will deal offensive damage while also withholding the Knockback effect.

This means that the enemy will be knocked back, preferably into objects or characters to deal more damage. This card also has the ability to afflict the enemy that Wolverine attacks with 1 Vulnerable, meaning that will take more damage from attacks. This card provides 1 Heroism.
5 Stink Of Fear
Stink of Fear is one of Wolverine’s Skill cards of the rare rarity, and one of the cards players should look into modding as soon as possible. Stink of Fear will provide players with 2 Heroism when it is played, and will allow Wolverine to Taunt every enemy within a single area.
This card will also provide Wolverine with 1 Counter. This card is great as Wolverine can taunt multiple enemies and gain Counter, which means that for every enemy that attacks Wolverine, Wolverine will attack them right back after they deal damage to him.
4 Rapid Healing
Rapid Healing is a wonderful Skill card that Wolverine can use in his deck, and debatably one of the best Skill cards in all of Midnight Suns. Rapid Healing is a Skill card of the epic rarity. When the player plays this card during their turn, it will provide them with 2 Heroism.
Rapid Healing can only be played when Wolverine is unable to act, meaning he has Bound, Confusion, Dazed, or other afflictions rendering him unplayable. Rapid Healing will restore health to Wolverine, and Cure him of whatever afflictions he has on him.
3 Piercing Slash
Piercing Slash is a damage-generous Heroic card that Wolverine can play. This card is a Heroic card of the rare rarity that will cost players 1 Heroism in order to be played. This card can target one enemy and deal offensive damage.
If the enemy that Wolverine is targeting has Block at all, then this card will deal double the amount of damage. For enemies that protect mission goals or simply just have a lot of Block, Wolverine can use this card to quickly take those enemies out of play as he deals insane damage.
2 Lethal Pounce
Lethal Pounce is the last Attack card on this list that Wolverine can obtain for use in his deck. Lethal Pounce is an Attack card of the epic rarity, and will provide players with 1 Heroism upon being played. Lethal Pounce deals offensive damage, and will allow the player to Chain the attack to two enemies.
If the player commits to a Full Combo (Chaining the one same enemy), then Wolverine will be able to gain 1 Strengthened. This will allow Wolverine to deal way more damage than he could have before, but only for 1 turn.
1 Midnight Special
Midnight Special is Wolverine’s special Midnight Suns ability that can be unlocked by playing Wolverine’s Midnight Suns challenge in the Forge. Players can only unlock these challenges once they have reached a maximum friendship level with whichever hero they would like to unlock the challenge for.
In this case, that would be Wolverine. Midnight Special is a Heroic card of the legendary rarity that consumes all Heroism to damage random enemies, and the attacks deal more damage for each attack that is landed.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available on PlayStation 4,5, Xbox One, Series X,S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
